Congratulations are due alumna Laura Miller (’93), who on Friday, December 7th was appointed by California Governor Jerry Brown to a judgeship in the San Diego County Superior Court. A specialist in family law and fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Miller has run a solo practice since 2005. Prior to that, she was a partner at Olins, Hayes and Miller. Following law school, she was a law clerk for San Diego County Superior Court Judge Harry L. Powazek.
