Don't miss the 20 minute mini-class on how to conduct California research in print. It will be held on Wednesday, November 2 at 11:30, at the fourth floor learning center!

June Mac Leod will offer a mini-class research clinic on Saturday, October 15th, from 10:00-11:30 AM.  Classes will be conducted at the fourth floor learning center. These mini-classes are a great way to either learn about or brush up on your research skills. Here is the schedule:

10:00-10:20  What is a Digest?

10:20-10:30 Locating a statute

10:30-10:45 What is a treatise?

10:45-11:00 Locating a case

11:00-11:30 How to Research

Midterms are coming up, and you need to destress from all of that studying. Come check out one of the top 25 movies for lawyers. We have 23 of them in the lobby display case near the 4th floor Circulation Desk.

Come look at our sports law display that we created in conjuction with the National Sports Law Negotiation Competition that will be held on campus from Friday, September 23 through Sunday, September 25. The display represents some of the sports law materials in the library. It's in the fifth floor library display, which is just to the right of the entrance gate.

The library will host short, 10 to 15 minute research session at the fourth floor learning center. This is a great way for those of you in the Legal Writing course to obtain an upper hand in preparing your memo. It's also a great review for others.
